Video: testing and diagnostics of valve body of an automatic gearbox

Valve Body Test Machine VBTM-K GT 01.100 is designed for testing and diagnostics of valve body (VB) of an automatic gearbox.

This machine emulates the operation of an automatic transmission by means of an electronic controller and supplies voltage to the valve body solenoids, according to the prescribed gear shift programs. Then the readings of the outlet pressure are taken from each channel, graphs are formed, displaying the deviation of the pressure of the tested VB from the reference (new VB). The testing process is carried out with an ATF working fluid heated to operating temperatures and at different inlet pressures. This eliminates the error that occurs when the ATF viscosity changes at different temperatures. Graphs with new VB benchmarks are pre-loaded into the software shell.
