The machine is used for precise welded connection of two halves of the torque converter body with specified tolerances for axial runout and internal thermal gap.

The device is operated by means of a touch panel with a detailed multilingual menu.

Taking into account the peculiarities of welding two halves of the torque converter with one torch, a special algorithm for preliminary point fixing of parts is programmatically embedded in the device, which prevents one-sided misalignment arising from the stresses of the welded joint.

The machine has a mechanized welding torch feed, which is controlled by a joystick and has two torch manipulation speeds. The reduced speed allows you to accurately adjust the position of the burner relative to the junction of the two halves of the gas turbine body. The automatic approach function is equipped with a memory of the last position of the torch during welding, which allows to increase productivity and ensure consistently high quality of welding of a batch of the same type of transformer

The automatic machine also allows you to replace the hub of the pump wheel cover of the torque converter
